I'm building my new system on the EPOX 8K7A with an Athlon 1.4 GHz.
I have a case from my older system which I would like to use. It's the Enlight 7237 (Middle tower 230W).Is it a good one for this new system or should I buy a new case? :(
Should I be worried about the "AMD-certified power supplies" thing?
Thanks in advance for your help!

The Enlight 7237 is fine. The only thing I would worry about is that 230w power supply. Depending on how much other things you have in your system, you might be ok, but just to be safe I would get a good enermax or antec power supply, preferably 300w+

I personally like the 7237- good room, good cooling. Personally would try it with 230W, but be ready to get a 300-400W.

Do NOT buy a Enermax power suply! AMD has removed them from their list!!

My friend bought a 430W and it could NOT run an 1,33Ghz T-bird!(unles we underclocked it).

Just because AMD removed them from the list doesn't mean they aren't quality power supplies. In fact a lot of people here won't use anything but Enermax. Your friend must have either been doing someting wrong or just happen to get a bad unit because a 430W power supply is more than enough for almost any system. In fact I'm running.......

1.2@1.33GHz Tbird
1.44MB floppy
100MB internal Zip Drive
Creative Labs Live Drive IR
3 optical drives
1 hard drive
Geforce2 Ultra
8 case fans

All on a 350W Enermax.

Teslacoiled, Enermax and Antec seem to be the power supplies of choice around here. You can also take a look at PC Power and Cooling's power supplies. They are of the highest quality, but be prepared to pay for them.
