Do i have a cooling problem

I am running a system w/ 2 intake fans in the front, a side fan, and a back fan. I have a p4 HT with the stock Intel cooler. It idles at 50 C and under load at around 60 C. the ambiant tempurature is around 45C (i think.)

My case feels warm around the motherboard tray, and the PSU

Should I have more cooling?

ambient temp is 45C ?!?! where are you, the equator?

45C is 113F

60C is actually ok for a P4 with stock cooler... to high for me, but it's within specs..

I'd def get a better heatsink and keep that puppy clean inside. Depending on your house {mine is always dusty} at least every month blow it out with compessed air. I use a compressor but you can buy aerosol cans at staples or office max. Rear and top fans blow out, right?

I was guessing ( i averaged the motherboard zone 1 and zone 2 temps)
It does sit close to my heater vent...

My 945 runs at 55 idle and gets close to 70 under load even with Ninja. I am using some elcheapo compound and have bought Arctic Silver... but didnt get time to use it yet...

ROFLROFLROFL.... Try moving the computer to somewhere cooler. That usually helps 😛

Consult the cable management sticky and rework your cables so its nice and clean inside. <--- cheapest and often most effiective method at lowering temps.

If worse comes to worse, and you dont mind nose, pull that side pannel off, and run her without it.
