Do horses poop on the run?

I've always wondered this when I drive by piles of poop on the road. Do the horses stop there and poop, or do they do it as they're running by? I'd be surprised if they do it on the move.

Yeah, our neighbors ride horses up our lane sometimes and I'll stop and get one of my back tires near it and then spin out and watch it fly.

Darn right they do, come out west sometime and watch a Rodeo parade but stay back from the back end of the horse.

Hehee, yep. I remember in Boy Scouts a loooooong time ago my troop was at some place and we were riding horses in formation. As we were walking along, the horse in front of me decided to start taking a dump while he was trotting. :D

I want a horse, but I'd want to be rich enough to keep it in a stable and have someone else take care of it for me.

Then you don't want a horse.

<Gwindor> I like how horses can sh!t and walk at the same time. what an achievment! must have taken centuries of adaption.
