At first I hated them. Then for a month I kinda liked them. Now, the first thing I see is the poor ground clearance, and I hate them again. Kinda reminds me of the SCION, the boxy one. Why didnt they give that SCion AWD?

Would you have liked them to but a CRAPPY AWD system like the Element has, whihc does nothing but rob the vehicle of power instead of actually helping in most situations?

The interior is the awful, after sitting in my mom 03 Accord, I know there is something better out there :). The CR-V is much better, for not a lot more.

speaking of cr-v's, why did they have to redesign the exterior? even after however many years, the new ones still look awful to me. the previous generation looked cool

It doesnt really matter how much power the AWD system takes from the Element.....IT'S AN ELEMENT! And I would rather have a less powerful AWD system than 2WD system. Again, it's an Element. Power was never anything to consider.

My point was the the actual AWD system isn't a very efficient one. Not all AWD system are equal - Audi/VW probably has the best, as it uses the most intelligent transfer system. The actual AWD system that Honda employs on all of it's vehicles is weak, and extremely front wheel biased, meaning that only around 10% of the power from the engine gets transfered to the rear wheels, which really doesn't' help at all. IN Honda's case, the AWD system they have is inefficient - robbing the vehicle of power is just a side effect.

It has a really weird color scheme. And it looks really plastic-y to me. Like flimsy. Like a giant toy car.

Who was smoking what when they designed these ugly @ss cars? Seriously, the Element and the Scion are two of the UGLIEST damn cars I see on the road today. In some ways they are even uglier than the Aztec and that's saying alot.
