Yes.

Comparing a DAP's output to the output of a nice DAC->earspeaker amp is like comparing an all-in-one stereo system from a department store to a high end setup with Krell Amplifiers. 🙂

I actually bought one for $35 pre built.

I've got the instructions on how to build on as well... Gonna take apart the prebuilt one and put it back togeather the way i want for the first build. Then i'll try buildingfrom scratch myself 🙂

I'll say prebuilt, unless I can build one in less than an hour, and it's at least 40% cheaper.
