Do guts help when it comes to getting girls?

How about getting an attractive girl?

It feels like I have some guts now, and can go up and talk to girls, say things to them, and stuff like that, that i didnt use to do,
but there's a problem...
Is that all I need? Or do I need more? Well, obviously I need more... in order to get a hot girl that is (i need to be attractive myself for one.. which I have let slide over the last year)

hmmm.. or I could lower my standards.. maybe that would help me get a girl sooner (obviously not put them too low, but make them low enough so i dont have to change my physical condition in order to get a hot girl)

Most importantly, find yourself, then be yourself, but if yourself turn out to be not that attractive, fake it just a little, not too much.

White lies are OK, just don't say you're white when you obviously aren't.

Don't think too much about anything, if you did all of the above, everything else should come natural.

Look, if you like the girl, first speak with her, take her with some friends of your's and her's out some place as maybe a group thing. If it goes well, talk to her from time to time and just ask if she's doing anything, then you ask.

Sure, asking can be tough, but you should know the person well enough that you don't hesitate.

It's not that I don't understand them...
I understand them completely...

It's that I don't think they are morally right. Because in order to get by in this world,
you got to play games, only show off the good in you and hide the bad,

Basically I'm looking for a better way of going about life. a more righteous correct way, but a way that can still be successful at getting by in this world,

and unfortunately i feel i've realized that the world just can't work under that 'better way'

and that male-female relationships must survive under the way of "playing games"
why? because we're all human. Humans suck, are not logical, and get in tradition of doing things in ways that are really not efficient nor the most benefical,

but never-the-less, to put on the mask of the 'dumb human' is the only way to get by in this world and to achieve happiness.

Nope, I have a pretty big gut myself. But, it hasn't helped me any.

well, the whole issue about knowing how to behave with real people in real life situations will help to make the time with the girl a bit easier. you dont NEED friends, but they may help you feel more comfortable around a girl.
no friends??? not even one? what about a sibling?? Honestly, if you don't have any friends, you need to step outside and enjoy real life.
