Do grad schools look at all your transcripts?

I'm taking Spanish and biology at community colleges here. They transfer to UT as credit only and show up on the UT transcript as credit. Will I have to submit transcripts from the CC showing my grade if I apply to grad schools, or do they have any other way of obtaining my grades? Someone says they do but I'm not sure.

From my experience applying for grad schools, they do ask for your transcript. Mostly for verification and prerequisite requirements. I haven't found a college that didn't ask for transcript when applying for grad school.
I have found few schools that offer grad level classes but in order to have them applied towards grad degree you have to be enrolled in grad program (requiring transcript).

If the classes you took at the community colleges are relevant to what you'd be studying in grad school, they will want a transcript showing your actual grades.

I took courses at one 4 year college then transferred to another. When applying to grad schools, I was required to submit all my transcripts. The transferred courses showed up on the second school's transcript as credit only so I think the situation is the same as yours. Expect to submit transcripts from both your community college and 4 year college.

Well the biology class I have an A in but the Spanish is 3 and 4, and distance learning. Right now I'm taking 3 and have a B :(. So do grad schools want to see grades for classes that are part of core undergrad requirements like Spanish?

in general yes, you have to send separate transcripts from all the colleges.

The school I finished my BS with had my CC courses from transferring in already listed on my transcripts, so I don't know if they would have asked for them otherwise or not. I do know, from talking with the profs, that they look down on grades from CCs because of the lower level of expectations that typically occurs there.

the application will ask for all the accredited schools that you have attended, and the gpa attained at those schools. the demand for multiple transcripts may depend on the school and program that you apply to.

yes, they will look at all college transcripts, even those not used toward a degree
But this does vary from college to college. Some aren't strict at all as long as your GPA is high enough and you score high enough on their standardized entrance exam. (whichever one they use)

I've never seen an application where it does not ask for all college transcripts.

My application to the masters program did not require my CC transcripts but the law school at the same university did. So I'd say it depends but really anytime you are taking a course and getting college credit you should assume it will be looked at if you want to do postgrad work.
