It's not very likely that two girls will end up wearing the same outfit at a party. By chance maybe the same shirt, pants or skirt ... but not an entire identical "outfit." Clothes aren't usually sold as an outfit. For example, some pants are designed to look good with a variety of shirts. Would they be angry if by chance it happend? In most cases, probably not.

 

I wouldn't get mad. I would only get mad if it ws my significant otehr who bought it for me and. . . .

Rather, I usually get embarassed or laugh about it. There was one time I saw a lady much older than I wear a cloth my dad bought for me. I smiled . . . 'cuz it had been ages since I wore it. Besides, this was a much older lady and it didn't look half as beautiful on her as it looked on me!

I've never seen anyone wearing the exact same thing I was, because I try to come up with my own combinations rather than buying what the store has on the mannequin. The closest I've come to that situation was at a party when 3/4 of the women were wearing jeans, black shirts of some sort, a blazer and black short boots. It was pretty funny.

Nah, rahvin, that was when we were all wearing black parachute pants, black lace tops over black tank tops, 50 rubber bracelets on each arm, earrings that touched our shoulders, a big fat bow in our hair and black stiletto pumps with babydoll socks. Didn't we all look alike in the 80's?

What can I say, I live in Wisconsin where we're at least 10 years behind the rest of the country in terms of trends. Women here are still feathering the heck out of their hair and wearing Guess jeans.
