Do FME connectors work well at 2.4 ghz?

Does anyone know how well FME connectors work at 2.4 ghz? Wikipedia says that they're good through 2ghz; I found a Hirose MS-147 compatible-to-FME adapter for 10$, and want to use it with my wi-fi card.
