Do external desktop solution USB/audio/firewire ports exist???

Not a particularly unique situation, but one that causes a cable management problem for me.

I keep my tower under my desk, but the surface area of my desk is so large, that it is a strain to run USB cables for my mouse and keyboard...similarly, I have to run my headphones through the audio port at the base of my tower, which causes me to run over the cable with my desk chair repeatedly...I have actually damaged to pairs of headphones this way. Also, every time I want to plug in my iPod, I have to climb under my desk and plug into the firewire port at the base of my tower.

I know that many monitors now feature some of these ports, but my next monitor will be a Viewsonic VX922, and it doesnt have any such ports.

I have found plenty of USB hubs out there, but none that also have firewire and audio.

Was wondering if there are any desktop solutions that have all of these ports. Something that would be external to my hard drive, that I could keep next to our underneath my monitor. At a minimum, I require 2 USB ports, a firewire port and an audio port for my headphones.

Havent managed to find anything searching around online, as most of the solutions I have found are still mounted in one of the 5.25" tower bays.

I had considered that, but dont like the whole exposed component thing.

There arent any desktop external solutions out there?

1. A USB hub.
2. Plus a Firewire hub.
3. An audio extension cable.

I guess that would be the obvious answer, but I was looking more for a desktop solution so I could run all of my gaming peripherals to one place...I am kind of nitpicky when it comes to organized cable management.
