Do eVGA cards have led lighting like the BFG cards?

I dont know if its led or neon, but i do know that two of my previously owned BFG cards had them somewhere near the fan as they would produce a bluish colored light when looked at in a dark room.

Anyhow, just wondering if the eVGA cards have the same thing or not.

OK. I guess that means the eVGA cards do not have a led light. Now just one follow up question.

Can the led light on the BFG cards be turned off, either by hardware or software manipulation?

Break them off! That doesn't right. Is it a simple pluck like action or is it going to leave a mess or debris?

Aren't they LED fans? In which case, you're not going to be able to get rid of them without changing HSFs or doing some messy work the the stock ones (replacing the fans).

I dont know. But it seems your ideas are probably correct. And with all that trouble, then there is no point in getting a BFG and removing the lights. Either i get a BFG and keep it as is, or settle for the eVGA without lights, but also without the factory OC.

But thats ok. That's all i wanted to know. You guys answered my questions.

So thanks a lot.

That seems to be the truth. Which means that i might as well get the eVGA and just OC it. Of course i will probably void my warranty.

But heres another quick question. Although i have already asked this before, i wouldn't mind reasking just to make sure.

Is eVGA one of the best Nvidia distributors?

I know that all the cards seem to vary slightly with performance benchmarks, but that slight variation from one card to another doesn't really concern me. It's the stability and quality of the card that im really concerned about.

I thought eVGA (and almost every other card manufacturer for that matter) OC's the card from the factory. I know my vanilla eVGA 7800GT is/was. BFG started it, but I'm sure everyone else has followed.
