Hey. I recently purchased a notebook computer, and was looking for a tv tuner via usb 2.0 .
And I started wondering, if there was something like an enclosure which can be used for a pci card rather than a drive. If so, I can just take my old computer's tv pci card.
Does anyone know of such a thing?

Old notebooks used to have a connector on the back panel that was actually a PCI bus extension socket, but I haven't seen one of those in a long while. Used to be you could get a docking station for your notebook that would have one or two PCI slots inside, drive bays, the whole schmeer - the docking station would hook right up to that external bus connector. So when you were using your notebook at home, you would pretty much have a desktop equivalent.
. Don't know if you can get much more than a ports extender any more.
