Do employers hire "full time" workers for the summer?

Seeing as I'll only have a 3 hour class 4 days a week to keep me occupied, I feel some sort of long job could do it as well..in addition to the money and experience.

So would they? I think I could handle going 5-6 hours a dya on M-Th and more on Friday and possibly some Saturday.

I know many restaurants are hiring for the summer. Just lie and say you worked as a server anywhere for a year or so.

I wouldn't ;ie, but there are many places like grocery stores and resturaunts that can get you summer employment.
