I noticed some of you were commenting about and older LG display that had 1600x1200. i do a lot of cadding awould love to see more 17"/18" monitors available with that display quality.
question, why do only like %5 of all monitors support that native resolution. my roomate has one of the dell laptops with 1600x1200 and that is a 15" screen so it seems like the size issue is not a problem. whats goin on there?

IMO, that resolution on a desktop 15" screen would be totally unusable. I personally probably wouldn't 1600x1200 unless it was a 20" TFT or something.
