Do DHL shipments routinely go through US military bases??

Was checking the status of a package I was sending via DHL (my first time using them after about a 3 month hiatus after they screwed me on billing) when I noticed this:

The package is going to a residential address in CA...

Well - part of march ARB is now public property (the base was part of a large closure - but I'm sure it retains it name - it did when I lived there) - so I can understand why DHL might have a sorting facility there. The old Air Force hangars would make an excellent place for it.

Nice base too - I loved the architechture - it's all old world spanish looking with a certain Roswell NM feel - lol
