Do descriptive titles get threads more responses but fewer views?

i think the "icon" thing is what draws my attention more. so many pople use the standard paper one, whereas the exclamation point is much more eye catching

ok a real responce is NO, because every somehow peopel would have to post more then every time they click on the thread cause every post counts as a view, and with the check for multipial posts in place ins next to impossiable

Well, Zenmervolt and I conducted an experiment. We posted the same thread at the same time but one had a clear title and the other had an ambiguous title.

ZV: 9 replies /48 views for me. (Detailed title)
HC: 12 replies /86 views for me (Ambiguous title)

Experiment ran a little under 2 hours until the threads dropped pretty far down.
