1) The economy goes into a deep recession, and the Democrats find a good way of blaming in on Bush.

2) Bush gets involved in a scandal of Watergate perportions, which leads to a major congressional investigation.
We can only hope number 2 comes true.

I would sooner vote for dog feces than vote for a democrat.

Your entitled to your opinion, despite how pathetically you put it. Now back that statement up, intelligently.

Actually I just don't like the fact the democrats tend to make everything the governments problem. Democrats tend to want the government to make programs to take care of them, they want the government to give them their due, they want the goverment to pay the health care and take care of their kids, but they want lower taxes. I have other reasons too but that is the general idea behind it.
I guess you haven't been paying to attention to Bush's huge tax cut.

EDIT: Oh I forgot you are too busy stealing other people's property.

You didn't even attempt to dispute my statements b/c you know I am right. You just posted some lame post about Bush's tax cut (which had to change due to certain circumstances that the country was in...think about it) and then attacked me by pointing out same post that said I used to pull pranks on people in high school once in a while, whoop dee damn do I'm sure you never pranked anyone actually you haven't which is why this seems like a big deal to you apparently.....this is why I left the political/war forum a long time ago.

Bush will continue to manipulate, and the fearful and insipid will eat it up. One or two good Orange alerts will have people clinging to momma, or Bush's skirts. At one time I was suprised to see the sheep vote for the wolf, but no more.

Ahh right, I forgot everyone who votes Republican simply follows groupthink and simply follows the leader.

Actually, no, but a significant number will follow. FYI I voted for Bush. Seemed a good idea at the time. Also, FYI I have NEVER voted for a Democratic Presidential candidate. Until this time. No one thrills me on the Democratic side of the aisle, but I have the feeling that the fine tuning of politics by ad men, and pollsters will prevent anyone with principle or potential from getting far in a major election.

I think it's stupid that we have a politics forum. What the hell is the point?

This is a computer forum. We live in Off Topic.

Politics is Off Topic.

Bush should drop Cheney and convert Jesse Jackson to a republican. He would fit right, in medeling with stuff that has nothing to do with him.

I agree. OT seems somewhat lacking as of late. I understand that the War was consuming a great deal of space here and the discussion becoming vitreolic. That a War forum came to be was a good idea. Now that is substantially over with, discussion here IMO is desireable. It is as you say Off Topic.

I'm voting for Lord Vermon Supreme. I saw him on a documentary about 3rd parties. Despite my thoughts about his party, the Socialist candidate was pretty cool. He sounded like he didn't take any crap.

I think the Democrats have a shot, but I'd wager that Bush will be in again.

If Bush gets reelected in 04, he'll put this country on the brink of bankrupcy.
He is growing debt at $1B/day and asking for more taxcuts, so by 2008, that'll put us in the $10Trillion debt territory, just as Baby boomers start to retire.
$10Trillion even at 5% interest rate is $500Billion in interest payments alone. That's $2000 for every man, woman and child in the US.
That's before we pay for baby boomers retiring. That's just interest on the debt.

Exactly.

I prefer to be responsible for myself and to know that others will be responsible for their own existence as well. (With a couple of execeptions, such as the mentally retarded or elderly.)
