Do Cyber-rebate Free-bate deals work?

Hi All,
I am a big fan of Free-bates... but so far, it has mostly been from the BM stores... but I usually get the MIR from recognized stores. If its a manufacturer rebate, I am a bit skeptical unless its a big brand name.

I am considering the Cyberrebate freebies... do they work. When do you get your money back? Any bad experiences? How risky are they?

If they go out of business (and there are many rumors of that), you'll get stuck with a piece of junk that you spent 10 times MSRP on and won't get the rebate.
