Do core i5/i7 motherboards do the double-post like P35/P45 boards do?

my dfi T3eH6 dosent do it but my evga x58 sli le did it...this dfi board is the best board ive had..it my favorite for the x58 series...

My Gigabyte P55 doesn't.

I read that certain tweaks to BIOS may cause a double boot and I think it was when setting certain things to "Auto" because the mobo did one boot to measure something and then the second boot to change the setting?

But, regardless, I've done lots of tweaking to settings in BIOS and never encountered a double-boot.

My EVGA X58 SLI X 3 does it every time I do a fsb/multi or voltage/memory changes... Was kinda scary at first but it comes back to life no problem just had to get used to it...
