meh this is petty. even if the police here did catch u and bust the eggs on your hand no one would care, it would probably be laughed off too.

i dont think the police even do anything about egging n such round here when its mischief night, they know its gonna happen and they cant be everywhere at once. they just focus on the tools that throw fire works at houses instead. eggs wash off, fires are alot more serious.

but having said that, the majority of police will be sat in a speed camera van having a laugh, waiting to catch maureen who's late for her halloween fancy dress party. mean while billy has just downed 8 cans of stella and popped some acid and is now driving around under the speed limit and he'll fail to be caught at all until some pedestrians are nailed between his car and a wall

Eggs, if left on the paint for any extended amount of time in ANY weather, day or night will damage paint. Since it was so cold out, it's doubtful your victims would wash their cars that night... thus causing thousands of dollars in paint damage to their cars. The impact of an egg can cause paint damage as well.

Just be grateful the cops got to you before one of your victims did.

In warmer weather, they're a real b!tch to clean up. Not to mention throwing eggs out of a moving car can break glass and hurt a person pretty bad if you do wind up hitting them.
