Do college humor frat boy movies ever get old?

I am currently in college, a second year comp sci major. Like other college students my age, I find myself liking these movies more and more. There might be a direct correlation with the fact that I'm beginnign to realize more and more, 2 hours almost never allows enough time to fully develop a solid plot and supporting characters. Putting my focus on humor and action movies therefore seems like a solid investment.

My question to you on AT, those that are out of college, and even older, is do these college humor movies ever get old? I mean, as of this moment, I don't know if I would ever get bored of watching Big Daddy, Wedding Crashers, Old School, Van Wilder, etc.

Your thoughts?

Wedding Crashers, Old School and Big Daddy suck, IMO.

I supposed I am a bit biased towards Adam Sandler movies after getting to play basketball with him at the gym here 🙂

So, you're sucking up to him by saying you like all his movies?

IMO, everything has been downhill since Happy Gilmore.

Pretty much, I find myself wanting to like his movies more 😛

Happy place.....

Depends. The good ones are still funny (old school\animal house). The bad ones arent and I never thought they were any good (crap like eurotrip). But I have an odd taste in movies. I hate hollywood movies, for the most part.

i watched wedding crashers this weekend...a few funny scenes but for the most part, wow that sucked.

I don't remember much of big daddy and old school so they must not have been that great.

are yuo asking me or op?
don't ask me, op mentioned them 1st.

I was asking the OP.

As a resident "Old Guy", I can assure you that Old School was written for guys my age.

i love stupid college humor movies and i dont think they will ever get old. An all time fav of mine is of course dumb and dumber. old school, wedding crashers, harold and kumar etc are very funny also though, and i really dont see my self getting sick of them

I was wondering the exact same thing. I'm a sophomore in college and I hate the stereotypical "frat boy" with a passion. I'd rather not have some of my favorite movies classified as "frat boy movies". Thanks.

I just graduated this past spring (23 yrs old) and I love those movies.

Super Troopers, Old School, Wedding Crashers, Van Wilder... awesome.

let me clarify

i just pulled an all nighter for a midterm so my mind wasnt clear atm

i didnt know what else to clasify them - so i'll call them movies geared toward college aged men. oh yeah forgot super troopers - that movie was pretty funny

i think office space is classic too

I think 'Dead Man on Campus' is my favorite college frat-boy flick.

Nothing to do with college but while we're talking idiot comedies, I don't think I can EVER get sick of Baseketball.
