Do coalition warplanes communicate with the Syrian air force?

When coalition bombers carry out bombing raids in Syrian airspace, do they warn the Syrian air force?

There seems to be some sort of dispute over this, with the Syrians saying we have warned them and the US saying it never has.

I'm curious reading about the French bombing raid in Raqqa. That's ISIS hq. I'd assume the Syrian air force would be patrolling that airspace.

I tend to think there must be some sort of communication, particularly now that Russia is involved.
