Hey, I was wondering which is more secure. A chromebook or a macbook? I did a research on the web, but I didn't find many information to answer my question.

Nothing will 100% free of malware / viruses if a user doesn't use common sense on where they go, and what they download.

I haven't had a virus on one my PCs since the Windows XP days around 2003, so it might be time to reevaluate your PC use.

Let's be honest here, the only big boost in security that gives any Android based OS device like a chromebook, is that you can only install things from the Google Play store. There are apps that you can downlad from the internet and run on a Chromebook, but there are very few of them.

I made my first PC in 2005, right after I joined these forums amd I have been virus free! Why? Because I am careful and I keep everything uptodate and I don`t open unknown emails...etc

do you suggest that thats why is virus free? because you can only install things from the APP store? what about viruses that spread thru email?

Viruses spread through email are mainly the result of an undisciplined use of email.

You must have gone on the Internet to make that post. I suspect you are in and out for specific reasons like I am. :)
