both my LG phones i've had can do it...

CallerID ringtones, set it to silent or vibrate or something.

I think I can do that with my Moto V265... set the ring mode to 'silent' or whatever, yet set it up so that custom rings will still go through even in silent or vibrate mode, based on the caller ID.

yeah, set unique ring tones for certain people, and then use silent mode as the general ring tone

My Nokia 3595 can do this using caller groups. Not sure if you can enable ring and vibrate separately.

I also have a Moto v265 & I'm pretty sure it will allow you to assign a different ring to any number you have stored, including silent & vibrate mode... I never use it though.

Well the way I did it is download a silent mp3 for a ringtone.

Then I just set that ringtone for the group i want to be silent.

I thought you were gonna ask if there's a built-in function on cell phones that will make it self destruct if the owner talks on it too much.
