Does anyone know if any companies cover the costs to cancel a contract to switch providers?

I want the new nextel plan that i saw, but im with at&t which sucks in my area. I have to drive 5 min from my house to get a good signal. How sad is that, and i live 30 min from NYC.

just curious if anyone has had experience.

well lets say they covered 50% of my cancellation fees. I'd definitly do it. So they fork up 80 bucks, and now they have a new customer paying $50+ a month.

Seems logical.

I can pretty much say without a doubt that there is no way in hell they would do that. :(
It'd be nice, but it aint gonna happen anytime soon.
