I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with Antec PC Noise Killer Case Gaskets? I would like to try them out to quiet up my case. Thanks!

They're squares of silicone rubber like this, and I ordered a couple pairs while I was picking up some more sleeving, just to see what they're like. Should be here tomorrow. :D

Dear aSnipingPenguin, effective is a subjective term. Get some and try them out. If YOU think they make difference, then all is good. I have some, and I think they do make a difference. Get some for your 80mm case fans and one for your power supply.

I got four of them to see what they were like, but the darned NMB fans that I ended up using are already so quiet that it wasn't possible to say for sure, especially with a pair of 15000rpm hard drives a foot away from them. I'm deferring to stevennoland since my fans aren't loud enough to form definite conclusions. I did take some photos of them so people can see what they're like...

...and here ya go:

The acquisition of these did put some  ideas into my head, however. I'm going to drill the rivets that are holding my Lian-Li's HDD-cage support to the bottom of the case and mount it on rubber grommets. The Lian-Li seems to be letting a lot more HDD noise out compared to my heavy steel Antec, and I suspect this will help reduce it.

The gaskets will help stop vibration noise.

I have a Directron case that uses 6 80mm fans, which I replaced with Enermax variable speed fans. Anyway the vibration noise was unbearable. To solve this, I went to the hardware store and bought some foam tape. (It's actually two-sided tape that has about 1/16th inch of foam). I cut a small piece and attached it near each mounting screw so the fan would rest on the foam instead of the case. This completely eliminated the vibration noise.

hope this helps!

I do this as well, but at $2 a piece, these damepners might be worth getting.

you think you're 1337?

i used foam weather strip. one sided adhesive. works better for not taping your fans to the case.

oh, that was 5 years ago...
