Do blorbs fit on gf3s? any better than stock?

i have a gf2 ultra that i put a blorb on and was going to sell the card. do blorbs fit on the gf3s? (specifically the visiontek gf3 ti200) if it will and is better than the stock hsf, ill take it off and use it, if not ill leave it on the old card to sell. if it doesnt fit are there any other hsf combos that are better than the stock?

yeah, it'll fit in the special holes (the ones outside the holes for the stock hsf).

if you've already lapped it for the gf2 you should be able to crank few more meghtz of oc'in out of it

I put my blue orb on my new geforce3 Ti200 and I am able to overclock the Ti200 to the Ti500 specs.

I sanded down a Blue Orb and put it on the VisionTek GF3 Ti200 very easily. However, the stablest I can run the card is 215/450...I also have a card cooler blowing 2 fans right on it. What am I doing wrong?

I would get the crystal orb because blorb does not cover the entire geforce 3 GPU. Four corners are exposed! Beside crystal orb is much better designed and the fans are much quieter for some reason eventhough spec are about the same as blorb.

You can get a Crystal Orb from here for $16 shipped. I've ordered a blue orb from these guys before, and just ordered a crystal orb🙂

You can also get it from sotrickcomputers.com but they have it for $15 unshipped. 🙁 The only thing I got from these guys was a Black Orb (Blue Orb anodized black) to match my black layout inside...works great though 😀 but a Blue Orb is made out of two pieces...an Orange Orb is made out of one and a Crystal Orb is made out of one as well but with a copper core thus performing better than the other two.

so would you guys use the "Dow Corning T-340 thermal grease interface material" that the crystal orb comes with...or good ol' ASII?
