Do birds learn new songs?

I'm sitting in my room the other day and I kept hearing a car alarm go off. It was that typical car alarm sound that 90% of cars seem to make. After a while of hearing the "alarm" going off for a few seconds, stopping, then starting again, I look outside to see WTF someone is doing with their car.

Nobody's out there, but there is a pack of birds, where the sound is coming from. Within that pack, it kept making that same sound, as if you make a car alarm go off for about 5 seconds.

What's the deal with this? I've never seen something like that before.
