i like relating to people by their icons (e.g. fobot's asian woman is just weird, and i miss notfred as a green snake) and it's odd to see change. but whatever works. it doesn't have any influence on how i view their posts, but it gives them more character basically.
 
blackinches used to make me laugh. myjaja is funny too. i guess their avatars sorta add to the effect, because it's like, "what the heck were they thinking when they picked that one. ahah"

yes, i would have to say some of the avatars add to the comedy. the silly neffers seem to pick the silly avatars, and when you see them you kinda chuckle a bit in your head.
