Do Asus p8p76 boards have built in wireless LAN?

Hi All,

thinking of upgrading my core 2 duo e6600 asus p5w dh deluxe system to a new p8p67 core i5 setup. Just wondering if the new p8p67 boards hav built in wi fi? My old p5w dh had it and I thought it would be pretty standard these days but I can find no mention of it.

Also, are these boards affected by the cougar point problem and subject to re call? Should I hold off for a while till this is all fixed?

Thanks

Mark

Only the ITX boards have this as a common feature.

And yeah you should wait, most sites have already pulled the products from sale. The z68 chipset is what you'll want and its not do out for a few more months anyway.

was thinking that only a few of the sata ports are affected and I really only need three of them so is the sata problem really an issue for me? All the other sata ports are fine aren'y they?

Is anyone still going ahead with a sandy bridge build? Z68 probably wont add anything for me and it lacks pci. I was hoping to retain my Audigy sound card but then again maybe the onboard may now be better this this.

problem is finding the boards, most retailers pull them right after the defect was publicized.

I wish the on board wifi was more common. I'm looking to upgrade my system and I'll have to get an add-in card. my mobo has onboard, an asus M3a32 MVP deluxe/Wifi

lots of online retailers are still selling them, stating that it is a minor problem affecting only a small percentage and only a few of the several sata ports.

I just ordered one from compusa.com, but they don't actually have it in stock and are trying to get ASUS to ship it. Doubt that'll happen.
