Heres what I got today from AMD....

Only 64 people will have the chance to purchase this package, which will include:

The highest performance AMD Athlon? 64 processor, a top-of-the-line NVIDIA nForce3 Pro powered motherboard, and 1GB (2x512MB) of DDR400 memory from Kingston Technology.
Tickets to the invitation-only AMD Athlon? 64 Processor Launch Event on Sept. 23, 2003.
Unprecedented access to this event, the AMD64 technology, and the masterminds behind it.
All-expense paid travel & accommodations for the event. (see site for full details.)

I guess if you pass the quiz at just the right time, you can have the chance to purchase this for $640. If I get the chance, although slim, I am JUMPING on this one..... I would just split it with one of my buddies at Staples, and Vermont to San Fran here we come! 😛 I will not be leaving AMD's site tomorrow once it starts..

I got the same mail. Deleted it.

Saw that at The Inquirer. Wish I'd gotten that email 🙁 guess I'm not worthy 🙁 🙁

I know I probaly wont get a chance to go... but it would be so worth it... Total Package ARV: $4223.00 (US).. damn thats alot. For the next 7 days, screw school, screw everything else, I am going to win!

So it said they sent the email. Never got it. WTF? :| No idea who to email about it, when I try to login, it says 'click on the link in the email' (which I never got), when I try to re-register it says 'email already registered'. I guess I'm to be denied.....🙁

I got the email...was home all day but never check the site 🙁

I don't have 640 bucks anyways. If i win the chance to buy it, anyone want it?

If I won I wouldnt be able to go anyways, so theres not much use for me. I would love to win a 64 though.

i got one. no way in hell i'm paying $640, regardless of the actual value of the prize (which is well more than $640)

I got to the final question and answered it wrong!!!! It was a choice between IBM and Dell and I wasnt paying attention.. I am such a moron and want to go sooooo bad. 🙁🙁🙁🙁

There's an instant win game on the website.

I tried to play the actual thing today. Got through the stupid Simon thing and then answered the second question wrong. I didn't feel like wasting my time on the Simon thing again. It's not like I'm not writing the pattern down, so I'm not gonna screw it up, you're just wasting my time.
