Do any old Sun users remember...

...a webpage from a good 5 or so years ago, where someone had an old Sun 3/60 I believe, and they tried several ways to destroy it (dropped it out of a window, ran it over, maybe even shot it, etc 😀 ), but it still powered up?

Does anyone still happen to have the URL? Even if it's down, it's possible that Archive.org has a mirror... but you need the URL, they don't have a search function.

TIA...

Updates!
Still looking for the above... but Here's an Archive.org mirror of the vintage computer target practice page. 😀

Dunno, but post it if you find it. I'd believe all that except for the shooting thing, but hey maybe, those things were pretty tough. I carried a sun box home once and felt like i'd been to the gym. It's got like 10kg worth of 3mm steel case.

IIRC, it powered on, but failed POST 😛

Regarding the shooting, I might be mixing up with another webpage featuring an assortment of older workstations being used for target practice and an old Sun taking the least damage, but this page in question certainly featured a Sun workstation exclusively, getting abused in more ways than one.

EDIT: bootprint, thats the other one that I was talking about :thumbsup: Maybe the /. comments might help me too... scanning 'em now, thanks...
