Do any of you watch wrestling? How can you do it without destroying the TV?

I use to watch the WWF then stopped because it was really boring. Now I hear Hogan is coming back, and while he's old its kinda interesting so I decided to watch last night.

Now Austin with his stupid "What" gimmick just makes me want to murder things. And literally every time somebody is talking and pauses their speech, the entire crowd screams "What." I had to change the channel before I hit the tube with a sledgehammer. I never thought anything could be as annoying as Michael Cole's ring announcing, but obviously I'm wrong.

No matter how bad it has ever been, the production of wrestling has always intrigued me. The business decisions made and such...

For example, even though my opinion is that the pending arrivals of Hogan, Hall, and Nash are a horrible thing for business, it will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts and how McMahon counter-reacts to make it play out well.

The old WCW was like a train wreck, no matter how horrible it got from a logical/cohesive product standpoint it was hard not to be interested to see how the fans would react.

I guess for me it's almost a psychological case study. But I usually get lumped in with the rednecks, anyway :p

As annoying as 'what' has become, it's still not more annoying than Cole. But unfortunately, Stephanie McMahon IS mroe annoying, and she takes that honor hands-down. For the love of God, please keep her off of TV and away from the writing staff, or I'm afraid I will destroy my TV.

well, the crowd can be a pain when they yell "what" all the time, but austin himself is just a genius. i love the way he berates people. "what" is one of the few things in the WWF i like.

i think rikishi is the single stupidest and most disturbing thing i have ever seen. golddust is just too weird.

i love flair. i first saw flair in 1976. yes, i am old. :)

p.s. i agree about stephanie. she used to be so hot and I didn't mind her little spoiled girl act. now that she has implants and a more whorish appeal i hate her. i used to think she was a girl next door type. now she's just another trashy whore. she should do porn. she would be perfect.

Bah, that "wrestling" crap rots your brain. It's sooooo stupid. The only thing it's good for are the plethora of fake C-D sized boobied escorts.

OK, show of hands, who didn't see this coming eventually?

You're definitely not trumpeting a song that any wrestling fan hasn't heard before...

I'm used to it. I've realized that most of the time it's coming from a fan of some mindlessly written 'Friends' or other sitcom... or God forbid a reality based show :p Everyone says that wrestling fans have no life, how about the millions that sit on their butts and live vicariously through the sad sapps on Big Brother and Survivor? THAT'S sad.
