Do any of you use the IDE cards that come in HD boxes?

I will be getting a 200GB harddrive and I really dont need the IDE ATA 133 card that is coming in the box...

Do any of you actually use these damn things? I don't see a use for it......

maybe if you have too many hard drives or don't have ata 133 or something

ebay it or keep it for emergenices

I use mine for Global Domination. The plan is simple. It goes like this:


Step 1) Acquire IDE cards.

Step 2) ...

Step 3) Global Domination.


And there you have it. Oh, now that I've told you this, I'll have to kill you, but unfortunately I'm kind of busy so I trust you'll take care of it yourself. Thanks.

That's what the FS/FT forum is for. I recently paid $20 to have one shipped to me so that the friend I was giving it to wouldn't have to run the new gift HD as a slave on the same channel as the primary drive.

Sarcasm? I can't tell. My 200gb HD works fine on my Asus A7V333 from March 2002.
