I seriously get 4-6 "attempted attacks" on my computer with this thing running. I swear every ten minutes it pops up and says it blocked another attempted entry to my comp.

I was just wondering if these are legit, and i should be happy its blocking these things... or if I am justified in being somewhat annoyed.
 
be as annoyed as you want, it won't change

my home firewall (linux box) keeps instrusion logs, there are thousands of entries a month

just ignore it all (but keep using a firewall of course) and enjoy the internet
