Do any of you use a vaporizer at night?

I absolutely hate having to switch from air conditioning to heat. Once we start using heat I always wake up congested thaks to the dry air. The first 30 minutes of my day is spent coughing and hacking up nastiness. I've heard people talk about using vaporizers or humidifiers to help with this but I've yet to try. Anyone have any advice or suggestions based on personal experience with these types of products? Any recommendations?

Thanks!
Tom

I have the same problem thanks to dry air. I use a vaporizer every night. It helps a ton but I need one that lasts through the night. If you get one, be sure to check out how long it will operate for. Mine runs out of steam in about 2 hours and when the morning heat kicks in, my small room dries out pretty quickly and I am stuffy again. You can also get a humidifier with a sensor to set how humid you want it. Sometimes my room gets kind of damp if I keep it running, but my vaporizor is old.

I would go to Target and get one that has some kind of sensor for humidity percentage or some sort of switch for high/low output. Also get one that holds the most water, because it is a pain having to fill those up every few hours.

When I moved to Indiana from the Gulf Coast I had to have a humidifier to freaking breathe. The 500ft^3 one that I bought ran out of water every day, and the effect was still negligable.

I don't know what to tell you, man. I don't have the problem anymore since I'm back at home.

Get a humidifier. I use one in my bedroom made by Hunter and it turns the place into a rainforest.
