We have them in the immediate area of the Seabrook nuclear power plant here in NH. They were put in to warn of a danger from fallout.

When I was a kid, we had one perched on top of the nearest high school. They used to test it at noon on the first Wednesday of every month.

We do in my city (Vancovuer, British Columbia, Canada). I remember my old high school had a siren outside & it also had an air raid bunker.

Cheers,

In Bradenton, FL, with all the old people, we only have lightning sirens on the golf courses.. But you can pretty much hear them all around because there's a lot of golf courses.

Don't have any sirens here in socal. But I do have a gaydar detector in my room which keeps going off for some reason. Must be defective.
