Do all the LGA1150 boards support the new C6/C7 power states?

I know the big issue is with PSU's but does every board actually support enabling them?

I ask because this UEFI screenshot for the GA Z87-D3HP dosent make it clear, it has c3/c6 lumped together:

I believe they do, but is there not a psu requirement needed as well to have it function?

What good is this in a desktop? Have no clue what C3 & C6 accomplishes.

at a high level

C3 is what allows you to put a computer to sleep
C6/7 is another form of sleep called deep power down - can allow the cpu to mostly be turned off, entering a lower idle voltage

I came accross an article that talked about some Haswell CPU's that use lower power Haswell CPU's, may require a newer power supply. Possibly the lower power could cause problems with CPU fans coming back on or something like this. Maybe we have to throw out the old power supplies.

Coolermaster is saying adding a case fan can up the power high enough to make the older power supply work better. Other than that get a new power supply. Of course a gamer may find this lower power application pointless since they might use Extra fans anyway. It seems to me that this is really a mobile or low power rig problem.

The PSU issue is well documented and plenty of manufacturers have put out lists of what is compatible and what is not. As i said in the OP im aware of the PSU issue its a non factor for me and anyone else who has a decent PSU, what im interested in is individual motherboard compatability with the new c states.

Dahlek, i also believe they are all compatible but seeing those screenshots gave me doubts. I mean i thought every board geared for overclocking made in the past 2 or so years would support voltage offset as a basic freakin feature then i bought an MSI board... So its not too far fetched that some boards may not support these new haswell states, it would be good to get some clarification on it from someone in the know or maybe someone who owns a D3HP.
