Do all players earn rings if they win a championship?

Say a player is left off the World Series Roster, but plays in the division series, he still gets a championship ring right? How far into a season or playoffs does a person have to be active to get a ring? Can they be on the DL for the whole season and get one? Or is it up to the team, or league?

btw. this all because Frank Thomas isn't offered salary arbitration, and probably will not be back with the white socks.

I believe you have to play a minimum almost of games in the season to earn a ring if your team wins...

I read about it a long time ago, can't seem to find the link

I couldn't be more than a month and a half because of trades right? What about guys who say get hurt right before the playoffs?

It depends on management. When the Patriots won their first Superbowl, Terry Glenn was on the roster, but did not get a ring.
