Humans are the only mammals that drink milk past the nursing stage. So I would say not drinking milk is more natural, lactose intolerance is also natural. But I drink milk still, so meh.

Not really. Lactose tolerance is actually a rare thing. Most mammals, including humans, lose their lactose tolerance shortly after they're infants (or whatever you want to call other animal's equivalent). Lactose tolerance is most common in people of European descent, which shouldn't be all that surprising when you look at other countries' cuisines. Ever heard of an Asian dairy dish? I sure haven't.

Body uses calcium from your bones to neutralize acidity caused by milk.

Osteoporosis has been linked to drinking milk which adults don't need.

Your body uses calcium from your bones for muscle contractions, among other things. Your body uses bicarbonate to neutralize your blood's ph. Bicarbonate is CHO3. I'll let you figure out which molecule is missing.

Without milk, the world would not have chocolate milk. Can you imagine a world without chocolate milk? I don't want to.
It would be some kind of communist hellhole.

What about tata milk? Babies love it and grown men will kill for it.

And here I thought I was in the minority for drinking milk. At least in my family I am.

I was drinking 1% but then kicked it up to 2%. It is the only vice I have left.

I don't think everything has an ulterior motive behind it

FWIW, the dairy industry spends roughly $50 million a year in milk advertising (plus another $20 million or so for cheese advertising). It's a $19 billion dollar industry, so there are some stakes involved :awe: There's some interesting research out there on milk as well:

babies need milk, not adults. human digestive system isn't designed to digest milk from other animals.

Sure it is, by and large we handle it just fine, it just has carbs, fat and protein, not to mention vitamins, which is pretty much everything we need

Milk is not a natural drink for adults. Look at how many adults are lactose intolerant. Especially the Asian population which doesn't have centuries of culture in drinking it.

That said I have the occasional chocolate milk.
