virtualDUB lets you rip the sound out of an mpeg, and you could save as wav then convert to mp3. the afterdawn forums are a good place to check for this kind of thing. Sorry no linky, but google can probably help.

Click and drag the video in to virtual dub (or open it), click 'file', choose "save WAV", choose a name... and thats it!

Then use any program to convert the file to mp3 (EAC, goldwave, *shudder*music match*shudder*)
