Do 1 gb memory chips cause ram problems?

Just wondering on a a64 winchester, And a neo2Platinum board, do 1 gb chips cause any problems?On the early 754 boards from asus you couldnt put a 1gb chip in unless it was 1 in 100 good chip
 
I don't have an answer for you, but I'd check out the mobo forums for those boards and see
For something like that, there would be like 1000 posts 🙂
