Do 1-800 numbers count as long distance on Cell phones (ClearNet PCS in specific)?

1-800, 1-888, 1-877 whatever other toll-free prefixes are there.

Do they count as long distance?

I'm sure they use up regular airtime minutes, but someone told me you are charged long distance as well.

That's a joke right?

Shouldn't be long distance...dunno if it'll eat up you airtime though...I hardly use my cell phone..a $25 card will last me 2 months or more.

That's a good point Croton.

I didn't think so....just someone said that...I think he's loony.

My other friend that's on ClearNet as well said no it's not.

I don't have ClearNet PCS, but I've never been charged for the 800, 888, or 877 calls. :)
