Can anyone tell me right off the top of their head what port DNS Server runs on? I am drawing a blank..

I thought so, but someone said it likes to have TCP also. I'm not big on that jive though... too self tought and need-oriented.

Most is udp, but i think responses over a certain size will be tcp...i could be wrong though

Sounds right. What I read was along the lines of "I cut off TCP access to port 53, and my DNS is acting funny" I thought.
