Is there such a thing that works worth a youknowwhat? I'd rather not stick an NT or Linux box on the lan just for that.

Ya know what else I've been lookin for? A decent network traffic monitor for win 9x. Something configurable... like what prots you wanna monitor, or what ports, etc. Again it looks like all the decent stuff is written for NT.

The only reason everyone writes stuff for NT is because it's more stable and NEVER CRASHES(har har har.....yeah right). I'm running a lot of stuff on WIN98SE, but I had to search long and hard to find good freeware. I would just do a couple of searches on CNET and see what you can come up with.....just search, look at descriptions and read the reviews of the other users... That might help you out, but no promises because I've never looked for that kind of monitoring software. Good luck...

One more thing, I would try looking at some of the complex mapping programs... They have some really nice features that might help you out, unfortunately...the best ones run on Macs or Linux.
