DNS questions

I'm new to this, so bear with me.

I have a domain called www.myserver.org. If I wanted to host www.yourserver.fr, I would first have to create a Virtual Class called yourserver.fr and then create a Virtual Server called www.yourserver.org, right? Then I would create an A Records (www.yourserver.fr --> myserverIP)? Finally, you would have to enter www.yourserver.org in your CPanel? Arf!

If you want to host the web site or the DNS for the domain?

DNS is hierarchial. The fr server(s) would have to have the A record that points to the yourserver.fr domain . the dns server(s) for the yoursever.fr domain would have the A record to the www server.

Bingo....that is why some web hosting service providers offer subdirectories (website inside a website)...
