i have a buddy who works for hefty records. one of their artist, slicker, had their dns changed on them to point to a different site. slicker's website (http://www.weallhaveaplan.com) now points to weallhaveaplan.biz. it's kind of funny, if you look at the .biz guys blog, he talks about his 'legal struggle' to get control of .com: http://www.weallhaveaplan.biz/AfterHours/blog/
my question is, how did he change the dns info? did he guess the registrar's password? how else could he have done it? this really stinks and is simple a matter of changing the dns back to it's proper server, but how can we keep this from happening again?
