DNETC in terminal window of Linux-Mandrake 8.0 *problem* :(

The Dnet client runs but it has some problems. It cannot find the proxy when it tries to flush. I cannot figure out how to manually set a proxy nor understand why its not connecting.

Anybody familiar with this combination?

Well, I have a couple machines running from terminal window in Linux. Are you setting them to flush to Dnet? Maybe try setting them to flush to an IP address instead of an FQDN. I am not sure if this will fix the problem or not, but it worked for mine when they failed to resolve the FQDN.
