Cool... a "roadrunner" guy....

Did you request your password?

BTW - in order to be PM'd - you have to activate it in your profile. Your's is not activated. :)

Did you set a .log file when setting up the client?

Your email should show up in an entry to the log file with ever restart of the client.
You should be able to find it in there somewhere.

If not, shut down the client and restart it, then look in the log file to make sure you got it right.

You were doing OGR. :Q I've sent your password to you. :)

We need to add that to the FAQ: "If you can't find your e-mail listed after 24 hours, make sure you are doing RC5 and not OGR."

OGR and RC5 are 2 different contests run by distributed.net. RC5 cracks encryption and is dnet's older contest. OGR is a more scientific contest to find Optimal Golumb Rulers. It started about 4 months ago.

TA is currently in second in both contests. In other words, both teams need your help. To find out more about RC5 go here To find out more information about OGR go here. Take a look at the contests and decide which one you would rather be running.

If you decide on RC5, Paulson has a very good tutorial on running RC5. If you want to run OGR you shouldn't really have to change any of the options in the client. There are some things that can be changed if you want to get into more advanced configuration. Post in this forum and we would be more than happy to help you set up OGR or RC5.
