At least a couple times per day, my computer freezes, and when I end task, dnetc is what has stopped responding. When I kill it, it also kills my net connection (I'm on cable), and I have to reboot. When I go to reboot, Win98SE hangs, and I have to reset. Can anyone help? I'm using the newest client (just downloaded 2 hours ago), but it's been happening for weeks.

Probably the overclocking, that's why RC5 is a nice stress test for an O'C CPU, caused memory dumps on my W2K system until I took the case off. You could try backing it down to a 75 Mhz FSB and see if the problem goes away.

Make sure you have good air flow, BLOW THE DUST OFF!🙂 You would be amazed at what a little dust on a heat sink and fan does to a OC'd system.🙂

One of my friends thought it was dnet that did exactly that to his PC. Turned out it was his security webcam that kept taking and storing pictures without cycling them, until he ran out of memory. 🙂
